About

I've been a lover of music for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I feel like we were always listening to music. While in college, I became a huge CD collector — there was always something about holding the physical media, reading the liner notes, and building a library that streaming just can't replace.

When everything went digital, after some time I found my way to vinyl. There's something special about dropping the needle on a record — the ritual of it, the warmth of the sound, the artwork at full size. And there's no skipping tracks. You listen to an album the way the artist intended, front to back, the way it was meant to be heard.

Recently, my collection grew in a way I never expected — I inherited the collection that I listened to growing up and also my in-laws collection. Every one of those records carries a memory. For my wife and me, flipping through them is like opening a time capsule. It's not just music — it's family.

VinylVault is my way of keeping track of it all. Every record, every story, all in one place.
